Psychologists are now, more than ever, stepping outside of the consulting room and intervening in communities, businesses and working with or advising on working with special populations. There are many new advances in technique and theory and yet much that is based on psychology’s early foundations (which do not always get the credit they are due). This convention’s theme is intended to provide attendees an opportunity to learn about new advances while getting an in-depth insight into how our clients and communities function.  For those interested in a breadth of program subject matter, ranging from ethics, racism, the 2008 market collapse, and LGBT issues to name a few, and those interested in deepening their knowledge by pursuing a “track”, such as issues related to children, neuropsychology or couples, this convention will not disappoint.  We will also have time scheduled for a debriefing of the Hoffman Report.  We look forward to seeing you there.
